1 life, yes that's all we have, as we know of anyways.
Live it to the fullest and have no regrets!

A play with color and light, late afternoon as the sun gently set towards the horizon.

Damn, don't think I can top that first comment, but here goes :XD:

Looks very cheerful and spring-ish, and perhaps even has a child-like charm to it (kids love picking flowers :flowerpot:) Yet the title made me think of Super Mario Bros (probably the "1-up" reference, which means an extra "life") plus both flowers and mushrooms are found growing on the ground anyway :D

Why is delivering things by car called "shipment" while delivering things by ship called "cargo"?

HAHAHAHA, wth Matt, you comparing my wonderful photography with extra life in Super Mario, :lmao:. All comparison is great, even video games ones hehe.

Chers mate =D

Has any light been shead in your dark work tunnel? Mine is still kinda dark as well. Just got a letter from one of the Photo Schools I applied for and I wasn't accepted. Not good enough photography. Which is a good thing actually, to get no and hit walls sometimes. Then you know you gotta get better and work harder so It's all for the better.

Laters!

Lol, like I said - it's mainly the title that made me think that :giggle:

That place must have pretty high standards. I thought the purpose of a school was to teach and turn amatuers into pros? It's probably more like a snooty group of people that think they're all hot-shit instead :greetings: But yeah, I've found certain things out the hard way anyway, and it usually forces me to try better at it :p

Eh, I recently got an amazing opporunity to work for a studio and potentially earn thousands just doing my digital Art. But their "tests" was also a paid job that I failed at...I had to make a storyboard for an entire episode of a sci-fi/fantasy show and follow a script of 13 pages, and each page needed a few seperate illustrations for it, so I basically got given less than a week to produce about 30 or so artworks...But they probably didn't realise I don't "speedpaint" and I really could only get about 8 pictures done before the deadline...I didn't even make it to a quarter of what they asked. Now a massive chunk of my motivation and even ego have been ripped out of me...Guess I'm not good or fast enough to work for a studio after all...Better just stick to freelancing :p

Hehe.

Too bad you couldn't cut if for the job there, better luck next time. It's like for me, I really wanted to get into that school since it's a great one but now that I didn't it only makes me try harder and become better. No regrets, just keep going :D.

It's very hard to sketch fast and get a fast workflow that's maybe needed for working in a studio environment. Atleast now you kinda know what it takes for places like that.

How did you get knowledge of that work and such?
