Since the beginning of time there's always been a fight between Good & Evil, an Eternal War that will last forever, in all forms and shapes.

This is an idea I got a while back but coulden't create purley for lack of skills. It felt it was time to give it a go and I'm very pleased with the outcome.

BIG credit goes out to :iconkerembeyit:*kerembeyit for his works. It was thanks to him that I managed to pull this piece really. I got to use his works for reference and that really helped me started and get going, cheers mate! From now on I'll be able to draw dragons, big ups for that!

I'v put alot of work into this due to I hadn't done any dragons before so I took my time and didn't rush things.

I found the idea of nebula dragons to represent the everlasting battle with good & evil would be really cool. Also it's really fun to make something original and fresh with a cool twist.

Created through CS3 and Wacom.

Epic work my friend.

Comments though:
I don't really feel the texture of the blue one, it seems to 2dimensional.
Also, the eyes and parts of their head feel a little too cartoony compared to the rest of the piece.

Cheers. Yea I had a hard time pullin the blue ones texture, I gave it a good try for covering him up with scales / pansar but that just looked weird. The head issue I'm aware off. They were hardest to get properly. I'm still very pleased with it due to it's my first proper attempt on dragons. More to come, improved of course :D.

You know, I just thought about it, and the eyes might actually be kinda cool with just a white form, flaming, and nothing else. No iris, no pupil, just a white eye burning, like the rest of the piece. You know how all-white eyes sometimes look omnipotent =)

Simply beautiful! I would have liked to see stronger differentiation between manifestations of the forces of Good and Evil. Lovely background and vibrant colors, though.
