Never thought when I woke up this morning I'd be standing in the middle of nowhere and watch a fantastic sunset like this. It was me and the boat, nothing more. Not a soul in sight, not a sound in the air. Cool winds stroke my chin and the smell of fresh summer grass found its way into my head. A still atmosphere that could be felt by presence. A still evening reflected by the natural mirror.
Me, and the boat.

The Photo has a deep meaning to the artist as said in the description and it reflect those feeling in a perfect manner to me. The stillness of the boat in the water, the warm light coming from behind the scene in the cold sky, the grass in the front and in the background, the little fog in the distance, everything in the photo seems to whisper at you that you're safe there and you can be at peace untill you want. 5 stars
Originality:
Tough we usually seen a discrete amount of "boat in a lake" photographs this one set itself apart from the mass. First of all the colors; it has saturated and contrasting tones while the majority of the shot like this are usually taken to BW to enhance the feeling of emptyness. And that's an other point, emptyness; The pic is not empty at all, there's much going on in it, but it's not overcrowded at all! Everything has it's own place in the peace of the setting. 4 stars
Technique:
I must say that ladyrapid never stop to amaze me with his shots. They're just so perfecly taken. He "respect" the most common rules of composition but take them a step further with his own mark, be it an intresting perspective, a wider field of view or just the right spot to capture a great source of light. In this shot he doesn't break the trend and has come to us with an other great capture in terms of composition and perspetive. The only thing that to me seems a bit off is the boat, it's a little too much in the center. Also the editing are minor and the picture seems so natural yet so impressive! 4.5 stars
Impact:
Well the picture is just stunning. I could stare at it for hours and still get the same emotions as the first time I looked at it in my inbox. The colors are what really set it apart, they're almost overwhelming but they don't get over the sense of tranquility the shot has. 5 stars!
