Artist's Comments

Half, devided, segregated, split... Everything is in some way put in some sort of decided size or volume.
The glas of milk is either half full or half empty, it's always the one or the other. Why can't things just "be"?
Are we really that controled to fully have 100% control on everything or can we leave things for what they are and not what different people make out of it?

Architecture, the few of the remaining free concepts of art out there. Hopefully to stay.

Critiques

:iconlethart:
Robin always finds such unique and beautiful architectural displays. This building is no exception. It's difficult to tell whether or not the building actually curves the way it does or if it's simply a panorama, as the artist doesn't exactly specify it. But in examining it as a photo itself, the black and white of this photo is very regal. It's got perfect contrast. The cloud at the picture's center is beautifully framed by the roof line of the building. The picture is crisp and clean, something that can always be expected of this great photographer's work.

Perhaps my favorite thing about this picture is the perspective. The image flip gives a viewpoint that isn't entirely new or innovative, but is always nice to see, as it's not a way that we ever really care or think to view something in passing out in the real world.

This picture is made up of wonderful lines, both straight and curved, and all serve to draw the eye round and round and to the center, which ultimately includes the entire image.

Beautifully done

Really superb image, love the flip to it, and the contrast is great.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever. It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
