Description
What is there...?
Is all we see this, a vast big nothing...?
Sooner or later we'll all find out, one way or another. What will be interesting to "see", is what's after, if anything.
I haven't crossed my bridge yet and I will stand steady for many years to come.
Just have to wait and see.

This is excellent. The simplicity here is gorgeous, and your composition is fantastic.
Your technique with the stacked NDs and 30 second exposure gave you a fantastic surreal texture on the water, and really brought out the details on the pier. I also really like the vignetting here, it definitely works.
As for originality, this is a relatively common technique and type of waterscape, but for me this stands out.
The only thing I'd do to this shot is remove that little white spot (looks like bird poop or something) on the left of the pier. When I first started scanning the photo my eyes stopped at that spot right away.
Excellent job, this would look fantastic as a 12 by 18 on the wall.
