Like life, nature doesn't always follow the schedule by the point. Things stray away and other things get added to the cycle.
I found a couple of late bloomers all by themselves warming in the glimmering light from the lowering sun. All rights reserved. My images may not be reproduced in any form without my permission. Comments Sometimes I think cherry blossoms are the greatest thing ever created by the gods. I especially like this photo. The focal point is the delicate stamins, yet the whole flower is being presented beautifully. And the wide iris makes for great boca lighting in the pink of the background. This is phenominal!

--  My prints Featured artists # - Z  Lovely flower. The colors and the blur gives such delicate and serene mood. And such good clarity on the stamens and pollen! Very nice.

  *sigh* I can't but feel like a late-bloomer myself, I always do things for the first time long after everyone else my age already has
 But sometimes my philosophical side kicks in and I remind myself that late sometimes can be better - it is the late-blooming flowers after all that remain the focal point on the shrub long after all the others had their turn, there's something special about that last flower -- *priteeboy - proud founder of ~The Worst Artists on dA club! - take a look, have a laugh    Beautiful!

Critiques
Love that subtle pastel like color in this shot, especially in the bokeh, really adds some great atmosphere. The depth is done very nicely!
The color speak for themselves and is a highlight, along with the exposure and light itself, the focus is nice, maybe could be a tad more on the exact center of the flower itself?
Nice watermark too, it certainly isn't detracting any at all from the shot, and works nicely, good placement.
Overall a great shot and quite refreshing. Shots like this are a dime a dozen, nice to see a different take on one
