In the south-east of sweden there's a place called Öland (Oland). It's an island that's filled with old history and villages. Here's in the most southern point where there's is 1 of 2 light-houses, the other one being up the very north.

Without these light-houses who knows what would've happened. Majestic as they stand their task is to warn and protect.

A lonely soul in the wast darkness of night, turns into a strongh white knight in the lowering afternoon sun, showing it's glory.

The weather this day were just as good as it gets, laid out some awesome possibilities for high contrast shootin'.

The year was 1980 at Southern Head, Grand Manan Iland just before they threw all the lighthouses into automation. You make sure the lightb ulb doesn't burn out and that the foghorn is in order ... Oh yeah! I painted some pipes.
