It's when I see works like this I'm glad we got the Daily Deviant system. This for me shows 1 part of what Nature Photography really comes from.
To show the raw-ness nature has to offer is a very hard task to capture and work with but here Michael you've managed just that, to capture it. And truly beautiful may I just add also.

I agree with both Ryan & Peter. The piece works with the sky it has now, since it brings a interesting add towards the foreground and vast midland. Also this would've worked with more sky to help lift everything up to create more depth and sense of perspective. In comparison it's hard to make since doing so would make 2 totally different imagery.

I truly like this one and I'm sorry I congratulate you on the DD. Very well deserved and I'm glad you've got your first now! 1 down... .
