I hold these contest not only to do something fun and support creativity. I also want to increase awareness to help children in need via and through Red Cross Foundation.I will always match the contest prizes in cash given away to Red Cross Foundation in winners name (or anonymously if desired). Participate and help me help others.

What is the contest theme?
- This months contest will have Perspective as the contest theme.

We're pulling all Contests for now.Thank you all who have participated in the monthly contest the last couple months, it's been great to see all the entries and even more fun to just give away something.
Due to the decreasing contestans and move/work we cannot continue with the contests for now. I'm truly sorry to tell you this but it's the harsh reality of it. We we're looking into getting sponsors to give away cash + prizes but we need a stronger contestant ratio before we can do it. Also we're moving soon so things around that needs attention. Hopefully we'll be back sooner than later and bringing great prizes and contest for DeviantART.
Thanks again all of you who participated and took part of these months we started with it, see you again soon!

Calendar - Tote Bags - OktoberSo its autumn. 5 months ago i thought my world was ending.
Now i think it was a good thing to happen. Long before the break, the whole relationship was only a pseudo-love-thing.
I think, I wouldn't have done this step. I'm someone who stays unhappy till the rest of his life before i would break someones heart.
So he did it. You feel like a piece of shit in the first weeks. Worthless, forgotten. These feelings are still there but its ok.
I'm more active than before. I'm loosing weight, eat more healthy, go to the gym. Bought me a car and now i'm driving really good after
6 years of none-driving. I can do all by myself. I'm someone who can keep oneself busy.
I don't miss him. I don't miss his family. Nothing.
I don't know this person anymore.
I don't care about him anymore.
People can be so rude.
I don't believe in everlasting love.
Thats bullshit.
I think I'm really rancorous. But who cares.
Got me copies of my calendar. Turned out really good.

February competition themed BOKEH is over, let's see who's the lucky few!.

These contest are held to raise awareness for the Red Cross Foundation. Each time we match the prize value in money and send to the foundation to people in need. To be a part of these contest not only makes you spread the word but also help raise money for the ones in need. Thank you.

With no further ado, here's the BOKEH Contest Winners.

1st Place and winner of 5,000 points + 1 Year Premium Membership is

A shot that not only did the BOKEH theme just, but also captured one of the most important things when we talk photography, a moment. Urban and very easy, doesn't have to be difficult!

This was a close runner up that was up and sniffed the 1st place a couple times when we discussed our entries.

Clean, simple and beautiful tones filled with detail and feeling this is a worthy 2nd place holder!

It's on the cute side and we liked it. Again, the tone and just emotional connection towards the shot is what drew our attention here. Same here, easy, clean and simply made, a feel-good shot that used BOKEH-theme nicely!
